I have some .223 brass in the tumbler. I might try and load a few this evening.

Unloaded a bunch of .357 rounds that were previously loaded by yours truly.

Used Blue Dot but wasn't overly impressed with the accuracy. But, with my eyes, you could probably say that with ANY gun and any load!

Daviscc,
keep your brass, you never know when it will come in handy,,, like now,,, you can hardly find reloading componants.

Anyone seen unique or bullseye powder for sale?

I saw both for sale last friday at my LGS, so maybe it is trickling back slowly but surely, dang, I sure hope so. Now bullets, thats a big negative.

I got 200 .380 completed. Components are:
S&B SP primers
Hodgdon's HP-38 powder 3.0 gr.
Various brass( all only fired in my weapons)
Berry's 100 gr flat based RN bullets(.356)
All loaded to an OAL of 0.980"
This recipe cycles well & is accurate in the Sig P238(x2), Ruger LCP & Taurus 738 TCP

I cast about 150 210grain .452 bullets today. Pan lubed and sized with a Lee push through sizer.

I'm working on a .45 auto load for my buddy with a light weight revolver. He hates the recoil.

I am putting up Boar Busters!

330gr hard cast wide flat nose plain base over 20.0gr LilGun with a wax gas check under the bullet.. Using the new and vastly improved Lee powder measure (found here: A MUCH Improved Lee Auto Disk Powder Measure )

Cannot believe how consistently this thing is throwing 20.0gr of LilGun, and not a single speck of powder leaking out of it anywhere! Never had a powder measure this consistent.. I have an excellent Dillon 550 measure, and it has ran the Dillon off of the press if you can believe that..

Note: This load is NOT SAFE in a New Vaquero, or a New Model Flattop, a Colt, S&W, or any cowboy clone, it is safe with full size Ruger ONLY, Blackhawk, Old Vaquero, Super Blackhawk, Redhawk, Freedom Arms.

Like my buddy TXGunNut would say: "Heeeeeeeere Piggypiggypiggy!"

I completed 200 9mm.
Data is:
Various brass( all only fired in my weapons)
S&B SP primers
115 gr Berry's plated RN bullet
4.7 gr Hodgdon's HP-38
Loaded to 1.135" OAL.
This load cycles the LC9, SR9c & Sig SP2022 & is accurate.

Loaded 10 test rounds of .357 Magnum, 125 gr XTP, 14.5 gr AA2400, SPP, once-fired brass. I did this on a new LCT setup using a mix of Hornady and Lee dies. That powder gives good volume in the case and measured consistently in samples from a Lee AutoDisk case-activated powder drop. The cases were like new but still had spent primers. The priming was no problem. I used to do .45 ACP on a turret with a comparable setup.

I was able to order my .223 Lee Deluxe die set from Midway today. It's been on backorder for about 6 months.

Now I can reload .223/5.56 and .308 IF...

.223 - still need bullets
3.08 - still need large rifle primers

So close, yet so far...
