| What's the deal with primers?
I've been looking into reloading components. Seems like almost everything is difficult to find, but if I look long and hard enough I can find just about everything. That is everything but primers. Am I just looking in the wrong places or are primers impossible to get?

Panic buying; try a few local shops may be your best bet for now... If folks would just grab a few boxes, instead of buying a case of 5k, there would be enough for everyone... Good luck with your search...

I do not know if you have a local shop that caters to re-loaders, if you do, I would start local. I got everything local & through Cabela's initially, except I had trouble with primers also. I got a 100 here & there, but could not find 1000 to start. I put in e-mail alerts to the big online supplier to be alerted when they came in stock. I was sitting buy me computer 1 afternoon a few weeks age & got an e-mail from Graf & Son's that SP primers where in, hopped on the website & ordered 5000 & they where out of stock in 30 minutes. Pure luck, nothing else. It can be done though. Bullets are getting about as hard, but I got 1000 from Berry's Mfg. last week & have another 1000 on order. I won't lie, it's a tuff time to start, nothing has come easy except the help/advice I got on this Forum & that was free.

I got an e-mail from Graf & Sons that my S&B 5000 small pistol primers are to be delivered by FedEx today(3/7/13).
So I am waiting by the door like a little kid looking for his super secret decoder ring to come in the mail!
UPDATE!!! 9mm bullets just arrived 3 weeks early!
