Wanting to reload .327 Federal Magnum

I am in need of a defensive and a target round for the .327 Federal Magnum

I have never reloaded in my life but got some brass and dies in a trade for the .327 Fed Mag. I don't know anything about it but I do have a friend that does reload a lot of different calibers and he said he couldn't find anything on the .327 Fed Mag.

Any help would be appreciated!

Go to Hodgdon powders site, looking at it right now, their reloading data center has over 100 different loads for Fed. 327, Hodgdon.com

Hodgdon H-110/ Winchester 296 are probably you best bet for defensive full power loads with Jacketed bullets. For light loads and midrange loads using lead bullets, HP-38/Winchester 231 and Universal Clays would be a good choice. There is data for all of these powders on Hodgdon Powders web site. Midway USA has a pretty good selection of of Jacketed and lead bullets in 32 caliber.
