I like long pointy Hornady bullets and my favorite is the .243 105 grain AMax, but a 1-8 twist really should be used with this bullet and 1-8 twists mean custom barrels. For this bullet I use the max charge of Reloader 19 as shown in the Hornady manual
Some time ago when I could not get H4350 I tried RamShot Hunter with the 87 grain VMax and was real pleased. I use the maximum load shown in the Ram Shot data page. The 87 VMax would be real good in a 1-10 twist or common store bought/issued .243's
But - 1st choice H4350, 2nd choice RS Hunter for the 87 grainers. Shooting RS Hunter is better then no shooting if H4350 can't be found.
Usually Winchester brass and Winchester Large Rifle primers (WLR), but CCI's seem to work just as well
