22-250 I use 52g Amax on 39g of H380. Results in 5 shots on a dime at 100yrds and explosive groundhogs for me.

Thanks guys:

My 22-250 rifle seems to like the Varget and the Nosler 55 gr silvertip CT bullet. I can't recall what load it was as my notes are at the office but I have shot 300 yards and 400 yards and had the 2 shot group touching each other. Seems like I was just below max load.

I'm still messing with the 243 and the Hornady 95 gr sst with H4831 sc @ 43.8 gr is getting there. I shot Nosler today and the 95 gr purple tip did ok seated at .020 off using IMR4831 @ 40.0 grs. It shot better than the silvertip CT.

.243 My win likes Sierra 70 gr HPBT. But ground hogs 75 gr Varminter with IMR 4895. When I bought it he was using 4895 and it shot good so I just stuck with it. About 39 or 40 of grains of 4895 for both bullets. Not shot it in 4 or 5 years. One of the bullets averaged 3150 ft. Don't remember which one. Raining and dark so can't go down to shop to check.

Thanks.........I'll look into that

I think I want to stay in the 85 to 95 gr range to hunt whitetail deer with.
