That particular design is my favorite 310 gr .44 Magnum bullet (it has to be, Frank Siefer and I designed it and I got to shoot the first head of big game taken with it - a ten point white tail buck).

My load is a heavy one - 21.5 grs of H110 or Win 296. I would start a bit lower and work up.

NOTE: My load is with the bullet loaded LONG. If you use the crimp groove closest to the bullet nose, then you will need to reduce the powder charge.

I've only loaded the 300 gr cast from colorado cast bullets. It had the dual crimping groove so I can seat it out further in my redhawk. I have used the same loading as above, 21.5 of 296 or h110. I recently bought some lil gun but have not tried any loading with it yet, my basement is tore up to start finishing, now that got pushed back till spring.

If anyone has any loads for the 44 using lil gun, send em my way, thanks

Thanks for the replies.

I've got plenty of w296

Anybody got data for midrange and bunny-fart loads.

Like w231 and UNIQUE ?

I shoot 5grs Bullseye or 11.0grs Unique both with the 240-250gr SWC for practice. The Bullseye load is very accurate with no recoil. Those two are so close to POI of the 310's I don't have to adjust my sights.
