Talking My Powder Order Is On The Way!

I ordered 8# of UNIQUE from Grafs.com in Nov. of 2014. Had to reorder a year later. I received a call this morning from them and they asked if I still wanted it. Of course, I said. Looks like things are looking up for all of us. Just had to have a little patience I guess.

It is a little patience sort of. I don't let my powder supply get low enough to get panicky. I don't hoard but keep enough to last a few years.

Wow, that is a lot of patience! It is a great powder though. Hopefully you got a great price on it.

Like ole man, I always have a supply of Unique on hand. It's the go to powder for all my handgun loads so, it's one you can't have too much of. I'm kind of and old man also but, I doubt if I could have been as patient as the OP though.

I think I got a pretty decent price on the powder. With shipping, hazmat, $10 rebate, and a free second amendment T-shirt [ INVEST IN METALS] the cost per pound was $20.37. It does help when you can buy in bulk. I do like to deal with Graf & Sons. I've bought a lot of powder from them in the past. They did lower their haz-mat fees to $20.

I'd say OP did well on price. Good to know Grafs lowered hazmat fees. I've purchased from them for at least 25yrs or more. As for the Unique, I still have a lot of the Hercules Unique and it is a great powder for pistol, and especially 12 gauge 2 3/4" 7/8oz and 1oz Slug and Buckshot loads. Really love it.

I would have to strongly agree with you. Though I have been for years. I have seen prices for components go up and up and up. Stocking up not only protects us from shortages but in relation to price increases over time, its a must.
