Any Starline brass used for factory ammo?

Is their any companies using Starline 44 Special brass to make their factory ammo? I'd like to keep the brass brand the same when I start loading for it.

Thank you.

I know buffalo bore uses Starline brass for their 44 mag ammo.

Mixed head stamps on pistol brass really isn't an issue when it comes to reloading for them, provided the loads are within the parameters of that particular cartridge.

I have never shot factory ammo in any of my pistols.......I reloaded for them right out of the gate.

I believe Buffalo Ammunition not buffalo bore does. I use starline brass it is much better than winchester or remington in 38 40 and 44 40.

My dad showed me a box of HPR brand ammo today in 45LC that was loaded in Starline brass. I just checked a box of HPR 357 magnum that I have and it is HPR headstamped.
Not very useful info, I know. Take it for what it's worth.

To confuse the issue, I seem to recall reading that Starline also makes brass with custom headstamps to order for large contracts.

ColoradoExpat is correct .... Starline is an OEM for many of the smaller ammo manufacturers. That said, unless it says *-* on the headstamp, it's anyone's guess where it came from. Some ammo manufactures will use Starline brass for one batch of ammo and another brand of brass for another batch so don't take it to the bank that all brand X cases are made by Starline. IMI in Israel is another OEM brass manufacturer as is Norma from Sweden. I'm sure there are more but I guess that wasn't the question.

Depending on how man pcs you want....think it's 500 pcs min. and you can order from starline. ..free shipping on all orders...that's where I got my .327 Mag. brass.

Freedom Munitions uses it at times on their new ammo.

I was amazed a few years back when I ordered 500 rounds of their .380 acp. & it was made with Starline brass.

I just did it to get brass as .380 is always the hardest for me to find of the 3 handgun calibers I reload (9mm, .380 & .45 acp).

I read somewhere that Starline makes Federal headstamped 327 magnum brass for Federal. I don't if they made all of Federals 327 brass but I understand that recently Federal just contracted them to make at least some of it.
