Polymer Coated Bullets

Does anybody know how fast they can be driven without problems?
At high speed, do they need gas checks?

I have never used them, so I am probably asking silly questions.

Depending on the manufacturer, 1800 to 2000fps, which is better than most plated bullets, (1500fps).

No, you don't need a gas check at higher velocities.

Less fouling and less smoke since there is no lube burning off.
