Yeah, that's what I meant by "Challenging". Handling the 9mm cases, bullets, and powder is not the challenge. It's all the warnings that I see posted here about the slim margin of error that unnerves me.

Ah, thanks, but no

.25 ACP isn't cheap, but the effort to refill 'em exceeds my patience level. Actually, the 9mm made me a bigger .38/.357 fan than anything else I've loaded in the last 50 years. The only autos I now own as handguns go are .22LR.

Lazy.

Aqualung will become famous soon enough
Of course the 10th Edition is out. I *just* bought #9 last month

Apparently I'm mistaken.

I was pleasantly surprised to find my Hornady 10th Edition on my porch today. I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow.

The rumor proved to be true, and indeed BE-86 is now included as one of the powders. I'm very excited!

My Hornady 10th Ed arrived today .... about a week earlier than forecast. I haven't had a chance to explore the complete manual but I do see some new powders listed.

Hornady gets into their new ELDX and ELDM bullets with G7 BC.s to keep up with Berger. The new Hornady ballistic program is also mentioned.

I will probably start using their new ELDM&X bullets in .224, .243, 6.5mm, 7mm, & .308. I expect the old Amax bullets will go on sale at various LGS's.

The thought of melting meplats is sort of depressing but I plan to buy various Amax bullets, hopefully at lower prices.

Load data for the great, accurate, easily obtained, high value and generally wonderful 68 grain .224 hollow point boat tail match bullet is included in the new manual but without the various 4350 powders that have always produced terrific results for me using that 68 grain bullet in various .22-.250 at COAL longer than Hornady references.

I'm quite happy the new manual provides load data for BE-86 and CFE Pistol in .45ACP. I'm quite disappointed that there is no new data for .357Mag between the 9th and 10th editions.

As usual, you folks cost me some money.
I was reading this thread before Christmas and realized my Hornady manual was #8.
I called Midway and ordered #10 and Lyman #50.
They both look good in the little time I have had to look through them.

Off to the Shot Show next week to work and see what is new.
