Lyman case trimmer problem

I have a new to me lyman orange case trimmer. I noticed I could not set the zero or have it hold the setting on cases. I then noticed that the plastic bushing was moved out about 1/2 inch. I used the shaft and the setting as a hammer and tapped the bushing back in. After about 4 cases it was out about 1/4 inch again. I called Lyman and they said to send it back. She said they will replace it. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. I was also told that they have fixed the problem.

I figured out what the issue was. The trimmer head is the same size as the sleeve. If you pull back after trimming and hit the back of the sleeve it pounds it out. I removed the head of the trimmer and put a washer on that now hits the body of the trimmer instead of the sleeve. It seems to work. I also took 400 sand paper and wrapped the shaft and cranked on it till it polished it up. Seems to be nice and free with a bit of oil. Not sure I want to send it back. Lyman was very condescending when I called.

Got rid of my Lyman powder measure and case trimmer. All Dillon products now, except using the Lee case trimmers and a cheap Craftsman battery drill.
So much quicker and precise. Lee also special made me a case length gauge to go with my trimmer for my .30 Luger. Only charged a few dollars than their standard gauges!:)
Great service.
