That Hornady 55 grain SP bullet is very accurate for me.

I'm interested in how the TAC performs. I've heard good things about all their powders.

Nice! I am stocked up for the election. I have 6-8 years of powder & 2 years of primers. It's bullets I have trouble getting more than a years worth.

I use Rodgers Better Bullets from Kings. Their cast are 21 on the Brinell scale.
Leading is never a problem with them. I use their 9mm, 45ACP, 45LC.

Just a general heads up, there seems to be a run on primers starting.

I was in Cabela's to pick up an order & saw the Hodgdon's powder was on sale &

I usually buy a couple as it's the best price around with my Vets discount & they are out of primers with the exception of magnum large rifle.

The shelves were clean I have for the past 6-9 months been stocking up & trying to replace powder & primers as I use them.

I got 1lb. CFE Pistol & Titegroup & they had plenty, even had Universal, HP-38/ W231.

Weird on the primer shortage. Can't figure that out but I know my local BP has lots of powder and bullets but very little primers. Perhaps it's a glitch in the manufacturing supply line? Got a little anxious and ordered a bunch from Midway. Hazmat fee only 19.99 and they had plenty of what I wanted so I stocked up just in case this turns out to be long term.

I'm well supplied except I was short a couple thousand small pistol primers...I prefer CCI or Winchester...the on line folks seemed to have most primers but not the SPP...I found 2K at a LGS and grabbed them...all set now...lots of powder around except H4350 and it goes as fast as it hits stock..same with Trail Boss...I got a feeling this might get interesting.

I see folks "waiting" for $20 primers, .05 22 LR and $15/# powder...When there is not any of the above and the prices are double that then the whining about hoarders begins...a word to the wise...if you got a few bucks load up...it's better than a CD and I don' t ever blame any one for being a Boy Scout and being prepared.

Absolutely. Unless you're totally new to the shooting sports you have no excuse not to see the signs of a pending shortage. We've seen this too many times before not to recognize it. Been quietly laying in ammo, powder, primers and bullets. If nothing happens that would be great and I'll enjoy shooting up my hoardpile. But if we see another panic after November I'll still be able to enjoy the sport for a good while. Not trying to speculate just want to be prepared.
