My son and his family came up for a few days. 2 grandsons keep ya busy, but we got to sneak off for a few hours for some shooting today. Even blew some Tannerite for the first time. Wow! That stuff is a blast, no pun intended.

PTR91
M1A
SR556
SR1911
WASR AK47
2x 1022s
Kimber 1911 Ultra Eclipse 2
AMT .380

Carbon barreled 1022.

M1A Scout

PTR91

SR556

Kimber

Jut now noticed the bird poop.

Tannerite. For just a 1/2lb broken up into 2 packs, it did well.

Detonation.

2nd larger explosion a milisecond after the fireball. Note the red clay going straight up. We could feel the shock wave from 50yards away and a 2nd loud echo from the mtns surrounding us 1 second later was heard on the 2nd blast.

Heres a quick vid of the tannerite. Both hits were from the SR556. We took turns with it. We both missed with our first shot Thats my son talking at the end lol.

All in all, it was a good day for a father and son spending some time together.

The end

'Bout a a brick more or less equally divided between a Ruger 10/22-22 and a Savage Mod 93 bull barrel...oh and about a half box of .22 shorts through mine Ruger Single Six...Looking at the targets when I was finished I must humbly admit that the wildlife in this country need not fear my marksmanship...

Shot some Double Tap Equalized 357 Mag 195 grain with a JHP and a lead ball in the same round. Shot it with my EDC SP101-2.4".

Shot 10 rounds out of a box of 20. Expensive and impressive stuff. At 10 ft you could see that they both entered very close together. At 15 feet it looked like the two projectiles were about an inch or less apart.

Damn good recoil. Lots of smoke, no real flash. A bit high and to the right of aim I thought.

Will carry this round with confidence. Got some 45ACP +P of the dual projectile "Equalizer" from Double Tap too, let you know when I shoot that.

Today, I shot my Henry Lever .22. Got it sighted in finally and did some 20 Yard work.... Hmmm. Standing off-hand shooting is harder than it looks. Do better with my .45 Colt revolver.... Blame it on the wind I guess . I don't do much rifle shooting....

Also shot .45 Colt in Ruger FT at 25Y off hand today.... Will be posting up another target tonight when I get home from work for Division #2 of the summer contest.
