Mini-14, worked up a new load for 55gr varmint nightmares. Then I got out my ice cream bucket of 62gr M855's and sent a bunch. My 9yr old finally worked up the nerve to send a few as well, I think it made him feel powerful

Took my brand new Ruger 77/44 out to the range. A virgin beauty with a freshly mounted Leupold Mark AR MOD-1 scope. (I know, it is not an AR.)

Took 8 shots to walk the point of impact up to the point of aim at 50 yards, no sled just propped the front of the rifle up on my pistol range bag and made the adjustments. Then after hitting center in tight groups, I stood up free hand and shot 2 mags (8 rounds) into the attached target. I was happy.

I shot Winchester white box SJSP and Remington SJSP. The Remington fed better. I thought. Both had good recoil. 20 rounds from each box. Nice morning at the range.

Sorry for the small cell phone photos.

Lee

My boy decided he wanted more of that sweet Mini-14 action today. He ran a 30rnd mag through it today and is in love with it. He also did some off hand shooting with his Cricket .22.

I did some plinking with my 10/22, and finished out the night with a 30rnd mag through the Mini.

I shot my Kel-Tec KSG for the first time. I was very happy with the accuracy and performance of the gun. It's a keeper.

I shot my Buckeye in 38-40 and some in the 10mm. Within 30 yd's it is fairly accurate and at 15 yd's it is right on.

Lukas decided it was time he try the HiPoint 9mm carbine today, he likes the Mini better. I cant say I blame him. He wants to try the Remmy 700 .223 this afternoon.

Went to the range today with my wife and her father. It was my wife's first chance to shoot her new SR22. She loves it. She also shot my new SR9c (she liked it much better than my SA 1911). My father-in-law picked up an SR22 last weekend and today was the first time shooting it. We also brought along a couple of AR15s so we could maintain our Zombie Apocalypse training.

The more I shoot this new SR9c, the more impressed with it I am. Never has any issues with any ammo and I am WAY more accurate with this pistol than I ever was with my 1911.

What did you shoot today?
Just the breeze... Ammo is that low.

A Virgin SP101 22LR. She and I got along quite well.

Also my EDC, SP101 2.4" 357. It was already dirty from the Spontaneous Attack, close quarter's Class I took last night.

Just plinking around the property with the newly built 1022 Butler Creek folding stock setup. Fun gun to play with. Been using the quieter subsonic HP Remington loads.
