First, a few rounds downrange at the rifle range with my .06 (time to start prepping for upcoming deer season).

Then, to the pistol range. Shot my SR22, LCP, and Beretta 92FS, 10 rounds each at 10, 15, and 20 yards. This is generally a regular drill, although I alternate between the range one week, and the canyon behind my house the other week. In the canyon, I'm freer to move while shooting and use more reactive targets. However, from about November through March I can't always get into the canyon because of snowfall, and snowmobilers take over.

shooting today plus a Hi-Point .45

Good day at the range--325 rounds Federal Auto-Match through my 22/45 Target, and 100 rounds .38 through my SP101 2 1/4". Great shooting ( for me ), and, of course no issues of any kind My buddy and I had fun shooting a Hi-Point .45 that he found for $125 what a chunk of plastic and metal, but gotta admit it goes bang every time

Ruger Old Model Single Six with 5.5 barrel

Shot about 30 rounds out of my Ruger Old Model Single Six with 5.5 barrel,
(actually my wife claims it as hers), today at a 6" square steel plate at 25 yards. Hit it every time
Big Fun.

I'm not a Glock guy but I do like Springfields. That being said, I much prefer the G30S over the XDs45.

Didn't shoot any .22 today. Just a box of Trail Boss loaded .45 ACP out of one convertible, and .45 Colt out of the other. All in all was a good day.

Time to retire the smokeless six-shooters and shoot some BP for awhile I think.....
