Good Evening from Southern California to Ruger Nation !
This is my first Ruger firearm and I plan to add many more in the years to come. Anyway, my first range visit with the LC9.
2/16/13
1500 PST
Indoor Range
Distance : 7 yds
50 rounds of Winchester White Box 139 grain. No FTF, No FTE, 47 rds center mass, 3 flyers.
50 rds of PRVI Partisan, 139 grain. No FTF, No FTE, 4 inch grouping, no flyers.
* 50 rds of House reloads 139 grain. No FTF, No FTE 3.5 - 4 inch grouping. No flyers. ( conventional wisdom states that reloads are to be avoided when breaking a gun but my LC9 did just fine.
Summary: The trigger pull takes some getting used too. It's a lonnnnng pull and an even longer return but once I got used to it. The gun turned to be a pretty accurate little shooter. It's only going to get better.
Anybody had any trigger work done on this? thoughts on customization if any?
God Bless our Nation and the Freedoms that we are inherently born with.
