I took the guns out to the woods today.

I wanted to get my GP100 (6 inch heavy barrel) ready for hunting season. After a bit of adjustment, I was hitting all six shots in a 3 inch group at 25 yards. This was with open sights.

The SR9c was shot at 12 yards. At a resting position, I consistently shot 3-5 inches low. Even after fully adjusting the sight, it still shot low. From a standing non rested position, I was within 1-2 inches of bulls eye, correct height just to the right. From point and shoot (no aim) I was even more on, including 2 bulls eyes.

Comments and advice are always welcome. Its been a while since I have shot on a regular basis.

Sounds pretty darn good to me, Brian. Single or Double Action?

That's plenty good on the GP for open sights. It's about what my GP does with iron. I can usually cut group size down to an inch and a half with a scope, but sounds like you're set with the GP.

I was shooting the GP single action. I pull the shots shooting double.
