I hate to say it, but I agree with you. urp, now my stomach's rumbling.

My local indoor range doesn't have an orientation but there is a long list of rules that you have to agree to every time you use the range.

My local outdoor range has a video they make all first time users watch - one for the main range and one for the clay targets range.

I think it's a great idea because keeping a range safe is good for everyone.

Kingpins9 - mark this day down on your calendar. It may never happen again!

My local range charges about $289 for a year's membership. There's another one a little further away in Scottsdale that charges somewhere around $350 a year.

I chose to join the less expensive one. It's much closer and just as nice, IMO. While 300 bucks may seem a lot, the membership comes with a lot of perks in discounts and allows for unlimited range time and appointments so you don't have to wait in line at busy times. And after I figured out how much I was spending by paying per visit, the membership turned out saving me money. But, if you don't have the money up front, then the discount doesn't help much.

ours is only when you join. our membership is 900--that would be a fair amount of orientations

I'm curious as to how many members are in your gun clubs.

We have over 1,200 members in mine, so doing orientations annually for all members could be a logistical nightmare. I still like the idea ... but I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about this.

347 exactly. I checked with a political poll taker.
