| Boring Range Report
Well, we started out with 250 rounds of Federal bulk through the SR22p. This gun continues to impress me! Not 1 failure. I will never use any other ammo in this gun.
On to the LC9. We where shooting a mix of Freedom Munitions 9mm Blaster ammo & S&B 115gr. FMJ without 1 failure. I also shot 2 magazines of Freedoms new 124gr. JHP to test it out with no problems. I am near the end of my 1st. shipment from them & I'm impressed with the quality!
Now to the LCP & Taurus 738 TCP. I installed a new Hogue grip on the wifes LCP & it was very nice. It's the 1 made just for it, you have to remove a pin & use theirs & remove part of the magazine housing. It was very nice. The TCP was also great. I shoot it better than the LCP, I believe because of the trigger, which I really like. Both guns ate 50 rounds each of Herters brass cased ammo made by S&B. Not 1 problem out of any gun.

Sounds like a good day to me. If its so boring you can mow my lawn and paint the porch and I will go spend that ammo for you. |

I just seems like all we here is the problems with this model or that & I truly wish those people could shoot mine as I don't seem to have those problems with my guns. I guess if I was going to be lucky at something, this was a good thing to be lucky at. My wife even commented that we had 2 range visits with a 1000 round total & no malfunctions. Now I only have 250 rounds with the Taurus, but I am really liking it so far.

I'm glad you reported your boring day. I believe the SR22, LCP, and LC9 are great models. They should and do regularly cycle through ammo without a hiccup, but unfortunately on forums those that don't seem to be an overwhelming majority (when they're really a fractional minority). Also, I'm glad your Taurus performed without problem. It seems many gun owners tend to be harsh on that brand. I personally like Taurus and their innovative firearms. I think Taurus makes excellent firearms!

Their 738 TCP has had the MSRP dropped to $199. So far, it has been very nice. I actually has(in my opinion) a better trigger than the LCP & the slide locks back on the last round. It also has the smallest, most discrete loaded chamber indicator I have seen. Coupled with the lifetime warranty & a free 1 year NRA membership & I had to try them.

Even if it turned out to be a piece of crap, you can always whip at the offender! Haha I might go pick one up. I didn't realize they were so cheap
