100 .357 Magnum | By my claculation that's at least 30 pounds of ammo. And I thought I packed heavy!
I find great danger in taking lots of ammo, as I have this habit of not stopping till it's all gone. (I apply the same method to all-you-can-eat buffets, which is why I avoid them.)
A few days ago I fired 200 rounds of .357 & 100 rounds of 9mm, which would be all I had on me. I find 6 boxes of ammo, two guns, and all accessories to be quite a lot to carry around.
I see other guys with one modest gun case & a 100-round pack and they're gone in an instant.

With open lanes available for others they've never felt any need to ask me to leave or pay for another hour. I do very generously donate lead to them. I'm also very generous with .22 scrap brass & once fired 9mm cases that they'll either reload themselves (using my lead donations) or sell. Seems like the metals I leave behind would cover the cost of me filling a lane that would otherwise be empty.

Typical range day for me is 200 rounds of 9mm split between 2 guns. 50 rounds of .380 for my LCP carry gun just to stay sharp with it. Then I switch to the 22's and shoot til I get tired- usually 150-250 rounds.
That's about once a month.

Never thought about it. We shoot on our property either at the house or down at the hunting camp so...
When we go to the camp, we carry one extra box of 20 for each big rifle and generally 100 - 45 Colt, 50 - 41 Mag. Now that the 380 and 40 will be added to the mix, I plan to shoot 50 - 380's every two weeks and 250 - 40's per month. I may up that to 500 40's or even more once I get a brass count up and set my dies for smooth feeding.

I usually bring about 500 rounds of .22 ammo and 100 rounds of 9mm. Deciding what guns to bring is my biggest problem.

I belong to a private gun club. Since I am over 65, I get half price dues. I volunteer as a Range Safety Officer and for other work projects enough to get the other half of my annual dues covered. So I get a free membership each year.
I take anywhere from 20 to 500 rounds per gun depending on calibers, number of guns, and reason for shooting. A trip to the range can be from 100 rounds up to around 2,000 rounds.

I take a full GI 50 cal box, as that's the way I keep all my ammo. I usually shoot a full bulk pack of Federal 22, and 25 or 50 38s in my LCR. There's plenty more if I decide to shoot more. Then the rest goes back home.

I don't get to go to the range but 1-2 times per month so when I do go it's an all day affair...(pack a lunch, got the cooler full of bottled water or soda's, etc.)...
I usually bring...200 rds of .22 LR, (sometimes 150 rds of 22 Mag.),150 rds of .357 Mag, 100 rds .45 Colt and at least 200 rds of .45 Auto.

On our private range, I take a can of about 1000 9mm and/or 3000 22LR, and/or 300 or 400 rounds of 7.62x39 and/or ammo for whatever else I might want to shoot (.40cal, 38...) and then shoot until I either want to go back inside or run out... even then I might go get another can and keep shooting. Every now and then the neighbor's to call and complain... that I didn't invite them to come shoot too. Then, of course, might have to crack another can of ammo open. Don't think I shoot all that ammo either, my son, daughter and wife all show up to toss lead as well. Youtube - ShootFastFun is our family shooting channel.
At a pay per shooting range normally a few hundred rounds for whatever gun I brought with me.
