More than I plan to shoot. I hate running dry at the range!

I normally take 4 guns and 50 rounds for each. This week I was trying a new 45 Redhawk so shot the usual plus another 1/2 box for this 45. I shot only revolvers and only single action so this can take close to 3 hours.

| How many rounds
I am lucky to shoot at local free ranges so a trip to the range is no big deal. I stop and shoot 10-150 rounds depending on my goal and leave, I am never there more than an hour or two.

Holy smokes, some of you must be loaded with cash!
I bring 100 rounds max, and that is usually how many I shoot of 9mm each time I go. When I bring my .22 LR rifle I bring 200 rounds or so.

I generally shoot 275 rounds each range trip (two trips per week). Lately, with ammo prices as they are, my typical mix will be 200 .22s, 50 9mm & 25 .45acp each trip.

really depends on the day if I bring 1 or 2 guns it's a minimum 100-200 of what ever I'm shooting(usually .22, .40s&W, or ,45ACP).
But if I'm playing zombie apocalypse and my dad comes along. its probably close to 1000-1500 rounds (just guessing) consisting of .22lr, 9mm, .40S&W, .45ACP, .38 special, .357 mag, 270win, 30-06, and 300 weatherby mag. I really need to get into reloading I already been saving my brass for 45 and 357 |

It's kinda like saving money, if you know how to behave and not use it eventually it'll add up.

If I did not reload, it would be difficult. I do side jobs to pay for my ammo.
