Today At The Range

Made it to the range today with my LC9s. I forget whether this was at 7yd or 10yds. Not too shabby for an old man. I've done better and certainly a lot worse. Love my LC9s.

Nice shooting, you could improve it by concentrating on JUST your front sight. I would also loose the two dot rear sight if you haven't done so already. It would help concentrating on just the front sight.

I don't know if you have tried both eyes open shooting, but it is well worth trying out.

Again, nice shooting!!

Good tip on the front sight focus. That made a big difference when I started using it. Seems odd at first to let your target go slightly out of focus but it pays off.

Thanks guys. Haven't tried the front sight only method but I did give the two eyes open a try. I might not have tried it long enough but it was rather a challenge for me. Appreciate all the responses.

Check out Navy SEAL shooting instructor Chris Sajnog's sight...no pun intended.

Here's his video on front sight focus for free.
