went to the range with GP-100 44 Special

Went to the range today with the new GP-100 and some loads using 250 grain gas checked hollow point lead bullets over 10 grains AA+9. These made the little Ruger jump and think were a little warm. The Ruger never complained and the Hogue grips did make the recoil manageable. I would not want to shoot these all day though. That is first target.
Second target is a Older 3 screw Blackhawk in 41 mag. Shooting a 210 Plated Berry's SWC over 10 grains Unique. The Blackhawk really seemed to like this load. I did too as seemed a good load but not too hot.
Third picture is an Old model Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC, and the Circulation picked up here as was indoor and the targets very thin and some weird holes as a result. The Birdshead grips were good but will have to get used to. The Vaquero and GP100 were at 15 yards and the Blackhawk was at 25 yards. Overall a very good day and the weather was very nice at partly cloudy and 70 degrees with a little breeze. I was pleased with the loads.

It appears a few rounds keyholed but maybe that is just my impression.

I'm hung up on the "70 degrees with a light breeze" part. I thought about venturing out to the range myself but had 0F displayed on my thermometer this morning.
Glad you enjoyed your new GP. I enjoy a 200gn LRN over 7.1 Unique for accurate plinking with 44 Specials.

I need to get the 200 grain. I only had the 250 to start with.
