Thumbs up SP 101 grips I made this week

I told my self last year I was going to make these. I've never made this type and they are harder to do then the .45ACP grips I've made in the past.
So I used lacewood and maple. Tools I used were drill press, router, chicle's and a lot of sanding. Took 3 days and a lot of thinking how to do this and what to do first.
I tested shooting them today and yesterday. The lace wood ones are a tad smaller then the maple and would roll in my hands when shooting. So I will haft to make another pare of lacewood ones later on. I finished them with tung oil and a light coat of wax. Geneo

Wow! Just.......wow! They're beautiful!

Would you mind describing how you made them - I've wanted to make some grips for a couple of my revolvers, but I'm not sure what it would involve.

Thanks for showing them to us.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words.
I will make the lace wood grips over and I will take pictures as I go step by step. Maybe tomorrow i will lay it out on the wood and routor it out + take pictures.
Also did you notice the frount sight I milled out of brass. Using a drill press and a small mill vice. They turned out very nice. Gene
