SR 40 trigger work

Iv'e shot guns most all my life and would like to think I know a lot about them, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm no Einstein. I've never done any upgrades to my hand guns but would like to now. Which brings me to my question(finally huh). What could I do to get the trigger on my SR40 to even come close to the trigger on my SR9c. I've read that the ghost needs some bugs worked out of it so if I changed the guide rod, what lb. spring would you recommend? I probably would change the striker indicator also. I know I could read a lot on this subject but would rather rely on some of your experience first hand. Thanks!
