In nj you also need a state firearms license to sell firearms. To apply for a state ffl you have to have a signed lease on a commercial building before they will process your application. You cannot operater out of your home and you have to have asigned lease as I mentioned. That means you will be paying rent on the space for the 3-4 months neccessary to get approved by the state and your building has to have an alarm system and security up to the standars the state police have set down. Then anyone who works for you has to be approved by the state to work in a store that sell firearms. Then you cannot sell guns on sunday because nj uses the state police to do the nics check. The nj nics check system shuts down saturday at 5 pm and opens monday at 9 am. The states gun deales sued about this and the court said it is entirely within the states authority to make it difficult to sell firearms.

Keep the fight up guys! Here in Illiois we do not have a concealed carry and have that stupid FOID card. There is a real possiblility that in May of 2012 we will get a limited concealed carry excluding Cook county and another down south. It is a start and I will not stop trying to get things straightened out until ALL of the United States abides by the 2nd Amendment. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed......... it doesn't say " as long as you have a carry permit, or get finger printed, or get along with the Sheriff of your county.......... Even if your state has a liberal carry policy, it is still a policy.
