Ignore the Bushnell, she wears the 512 now. I wanted to see if the Bushnell would allow irons through it but she went caput for no good reason besides being cheap. The 512 sets a little high but with a cheek pad it will be all better. I'm trying to find one that isn't just hook and loop (velcro) junk.

My M1A Scout

Here's my 18" scout squad with the Aimpoint Comp3 Cheekweld is great with the factory scout mount, no use of the Iron sights either, but just remove a screw and you will be in business!
