Dr. Marneaus will become famous soon enough
Yeah I was relieved to see it shot well.

Also turns out I can leave the rear sight up and while it does cross into the view of the scope it doesn't obstruct anything st all and it works just fine.

like what you have done and Ruger must have as well. They made a 10-22 Scout limited.

I'm getting closer, Dr. Marneaus! I might get around to painting the modified rail in the next few days.

Sorting out elevation due to the tapered barrel. 1st try on top.

I'll just wrap some electrical tape around the stock to get the right look.

True Dr. M!

I put some photos of the Zastava and the GSR in an album here at the Ruger forum.

Maybe this link will work. Wishful Scouting - Ruger Forum

These are awesome (and adorable)!

I sure hope y'all are considering getting the muzzles threaded to can these little puppies.

My father and I plan to gift my mother a .22 rifle next year, since she has an old Nylon 66 her father bought her that she absolutely hates because she wanted wood and a bolt-action, so we plan to (with her agreement) sell the 66 she dislikes and get her a CZ Scout .22, which comes with threaded muzzle.

This thread has me wondering if a low-magnification scout-scope might be easier for my mom that a regular scope; her eyesight is still pretty good but she's in her mid-60s, maybe a forward-mounted quality-but-simple low-mag scope with a glowing dot or crosshairs?
