My SP101 is sick! I initially thought it was just me and that I was the one having issues with the trigger but after taking it to the LGS to have their gunsmith look at it, there is definitely seeing wrong with the cylinder and hammer. They are sending it to Ruger for me since I bought it at their store. Hopefully, he will be all better once he returns home.
Always hurts to have a gun, down, so I feel for you. The good news, though, is that it is a Ruger, so you've got some of the best folks in the gun business behind you.
Ruger baby update: it is still at Ruger. I probably should have sent it myself rather than go through the LGS. No timetable on when it comes back to me.
As a result, I have had to "suffer" through shooting my SR9c and LC9 instead.
My SP101 came home from Ruger today. They repaired the trigger, trigger plunger and crane. I put 50 rounds through him at the range and he worked perfectly! So glad to finally have him back where he belongs. Ruger CS rocks!
