I just saw one of these at Gander Mt. , I've been looking at these online for years hoping they would appear in the US. These are the Bosnian made .357's made by Zastava, they make good rifles and these revolvers should be pretty solid.

Cool! I want to look into those now. Was that one used? That's a serious drag line on the cylinder. Do you plan to get one? I need to know more!

Tough to tell from a picture but it looks about the size of an L Frame.

Interesting revolver. I'd be interested in checking one out and inspecting it closer. There have been many European revolvers in the past that were well built, and many were based on S&W engineering. I wonder how these differ and hold up?

I like the look of that thing. Also like the look of the price tag.
According to the Zastava website the only dealer in the US is: Century International Arms

Call me old fashioned or out of touch, but I have to ask: What's wrong with good old Made in the United States of America firearms? Smith, Ruger, Colt, Mossberg, etc.?

And yet another foreign made .357? The price has dropped from a dime a dozen to about seven cents a dozen on those now, hasn't it? Or is it seven cents for a baker's dozen?

Zastava? Bosnia? Thanks, but no thanks. I've bought and used American guns all my life...not about to stop now.

They had two used examples but I have read that Gander Mt stocks these too.

I'm a wheelgun nut and like to collect and shoot different types of revolvers.

I've got dozens of GP's and Sixes, those are my "go to" guns. My Smiths are mainly my range toys. I have a bunch of other oddball stuff but I tend to focus on 4" fixed sight wheelguns. I would love to add one of these Zastavas to my collection.

I love US made guns, but I still own and shoot CZ's and Berettas , and also have a few other foreign guns.

Don't know anything about this particular gun but those folks over there have a LONG history of making some pretty fine weapons.

Yes Zastava has been making some of the worlds finest military weapons for decades. Their re-introduction of the Tokarev pistol is the best deal in a semi-auto pistol ( both 7.62x25 and 9mm ) on the planet (their "commander" sized M88A 9mm is also in that category if you can find one). There is no reason to believe that the revolver will be a pleasant surprise for anyone who can get one.

All the ones I have seen are used, the Century imports are in the box and "hardly used" according to what I saw on another site. Century doesn't have them listed as far as I can see.

These might be some kind of security contract guns from overseas that weren't used much?

Out the Door price is probably somewhere close to $435-$450 (figuring tax/background check)
I think I'd rather buy a used Security Six or GP100, even having to add some $$$ I think the Ruger value will remain pretty constant.
I'd go for a Ruger instead just for parts, upgrades or repairs if needed.
The added $$$ would justify the added value to me.
