One more in the SP101 camp. In the holster on my belt on my pants next to the bed. I think I want the CT laser, but not in the budget yet.

It depends on what I carried that day.

Most often it's my 3" GP100 and my 442. My load of choice for the GP100 is either the Remington 125 Grain SJHP or the Black Hills 125 Grain JHP. There's a few other long arms handy, but I won't discuss them on a public forum.

I have the M-2 .50 cal. at the bedroom doorway, backed up by the M-240 .30 cal. at the foot of the bed as my fallback position, which is backed up by a Mini-14 .223 cal. and Remington 870 12 gauge under the bed, backed up by a SP 101 .357 cal. on top of the nightstand, backed up by a Kabar USMC fighting knife under the nightstand. These are for defensive purposes only. When I'm in the offensive mode,I just call up the U.S. Marines. They have a much better track record for that kind of operations! Happy 4th of July to all!

The SP101 will be my primary ccw, I've been looking at the XD, CZ SP01 and HK P30 in 9mm for the bedside and range gun. These all have the tac rail for a Light to so I could Identify the perp.

I'm taking suggestions, help me choose so I won't have to keep buying more guns

since you've already got the SP101, I'd grab the CZ P01 (not the larger SP01). It looks just lovely, but I've never handled it. They make *amazing* .22 bolt rifles for like no money used. Then I'd load it with the softest 147gr JHP's I could find for indoor use. Does anyone make a factory 147gr lead JHP in 9mm?

Go to would be my S&W M&P .40c usually.

I also have a CZ P-01 that a absolutely love though, can't say enough good about it. I may get a light for the rail and make it the bedside piece, it is a pleasure to shoot that is for sure.

M-15 Smith w/110 gr "Treasury loads"....or 158 LHP "FBI/Metro" round.

I noticed that a few folks here like the .38/ 158 LSWCHP. I was told the other day that Buffalo Bore is updating that round...in both std pressure and +P...don't yet know if that's so...gonna check it out snd, if they are doin' so, gonna try to get some and try it out.

Sp101 tucked under the bed, and my carry piece (HK USP 9mm Compact) is usually on the nightstand when I take it off at night. In my jewelry box, I have two 357 speedloaders.

Beware of the man with only one gun. I feel it doesn't get any better for a nightstand gun. Mine has a 4" BBL.
