I quit keeping a weapon by the bed. My wife is ...umm..grumpy enough when awakened that I feel sorry for any who disturb her.

Awards Showcase

I replied back in July to this post, but figured I would update. I have my SP101 w/ CT grips by the bed every night.

Two female standard poodles because they are very protective and can hear and see better than I can. Nearby a .357 Mag snubby.

All Rugers
Rotate between a SP101, P91, and a P95...
All 3 slightly customized...laser sites and such.

Remington 1100, 12 GA, with extended mag, 24 in I/C bbl, and EZLoader. 10+1 rds of #4 Buck in the gun, backed up by a belt full of slugs hanging on a nail next to it. Backed up by whatever handgun I was carrying that day, generally still attatched to my britches. That's generally a Taurus PT1911, S&W Model 10-6, or KT P-32.

well in the NEAR future .. I am hoping for a GP100 on my side and a S&W Model 60 on my wife's side .. not sure about the house loads yet .. and not to stir up the proverbial hornet's nest .. but looking for advice ... we are at one end of the house and the kids are at the other so .. maximum stopping but minimum penetration ... been looking at some of the 'frangible' stuff out there .... any advice would be appreciated.
