Those are some real beauties. I saw some on gunbroker being offered awhile back and they were commanding a premium price.

What a beautiful set! You just can't beat Pythons for both beauty and function.

ptblank, The Python has always been right at the top of my list of desireable revolvers and yours are awesome! Right out of the "box", the Python is the smoothest revolver I have ever handled.........................Dick

Thank you! Yes, the blue one is extra sharp. Colt's really did a nice job in building both of these "Snake Eyes" Pythons! I was very lucky to have discoved these fine revolvers! Sometimes(But, not very often!)you might find yourself in the right place at the right time, to be the lucky person to snatch up a nice set of guns, like these!

Man, those are *gorgeous*.

Gunlover24, if you don't mind a shooter rather than a collectible, you will occasionally come across refinished Colts at a fraction of the current going rates. If it's otherwise sound, then *yow*.

I got a great Diamondback that way AND it's hard-chromed. A similar option was available for factory guns back in the day, and now those go for $1500+.
I paid about the same as for a new Ruger.

If you're not a purist, you can find 'em.

Those are some fine guns!

I have wanted a snubby or 4 inch Python for years. Hopefully someday I will buckle down and dedicate m'self more to acquiring one. THis hobby sure can get expensive....!

Very nice! I had a Python back in 84 that I wish I hadn't sold. That pair you got there is making me drool.
