I was interested until I saw the MSRP on these. I'm sure it's a fine shooter, but I don't plan on shelling out $1,200 for a pistol that's so new on the market & hasn't proven itself yet...especially a pocket pistol. I'll keep these in mid, but I don't think I'd ever buy one.

Interesting pistol. But, too much buck-for-the-bang IMO.

I was definitely interested, I'd just already seen the video as I try to watch as much Hickok as possible. As luvmysr9 said, although it looks awesome, I wouldn't want to spend that much on a handgun that doesn't have a good history of reliability. The same reason I will probably decide against buying an MGI Hydra. Just too new and not enough known about reliability. For that amount of money i'm sure they're very good guns, but i'll leave them alone until time releaves more about its staying power.

Yeah, I'm a faithful Hickok45 follower, too. That's how I stumbled across this. I'd just never heard of one before and the design intrigued me. But like the rest, the price tag is keeping it off my shopping list! For $1,300 I at least want a pistol that holds the slide back on the last round.

Lamborghini's are interesting too, but since I'm not dropping $200K on a car, there's not much for me to comment on other than 'cool'.

I am subscribed to Hickock45, and while I think this is a neat pistol, I have to agree with everyone else, that is much too expensive for a pocket pistol, especially one that isn't even a big name. I really think its neat though that it grabs the bullet on the way back. Maybe someday these will be more widely tested and more economically friendly.

I did a little researce on these and they have problems with a lot of ammo.Seems pulling the ammo back rapidly when cycling tends to dissassemble some ammo.

Yeah, Hickok45 mentioned that. He said their manual says to only use certain ammo. He shot mostly PMC 124g FMJ, but did shoot 3 hollow points through it. He's having a tough time getting ammo, too.

I too subscribe to him, and watched this vid, while it was interesting, it seems to be an answer without a question, it is the same size gun, just parts moved around in different places. I also am scared by those mags, seems a little too radical for me! Of course, all of these things were propably said about polymer frame handguns when they first came out so who knows? Somebody has to think outside the box or else we'd all still be lighting a fusil with a match!
At that price point, i would be buying a a higher end 1911 fighting gun, not a pocket pistol! Heck i could buy a matched pair of Ruger Vaqueros, or that Freedom Arms .41 mag dedicated hunting revolver i have always wanted or, or, or.... *BAM*Reality hits* that also adds up to more than a half a semester of college tuition for me right now... Gees, i need to learn how to shut the logical side of my brain off when it comes to talking about guns!
Anyways! Thanks for sharing with the gang!

I totally agree. I posted it because it was new and unusual. I guess if someone's looking for an ultra small 9mm pistol and the price and new technology doesn't scare them off, this might be their pistol. I am concerned that it's one flaw seems to be tearing the rim off a round with the possibility of it still firing the primer is a law suit or worse waiting to happen.

On the positive side, it seems to be very manageable and has an excellent trigger. But like you said, we can't discourage new innovation lest we fall into the trap of if it ain't broken, why fix it.

It's also an American product. I'm glad to see we're still producing guns with novel, new ideas. I'm sure John Browning encountered some of the same arguments with the 1911.

I still won't buy one for that price.

Interesting, but not worth the $. I'd have to try one before buying one.
