I bought another Taurus....

I just put an M380 .380 revolver on layaway....on an impulse. I wanted something light for knock around pocket carry that I wouldn't mind sweating all over this summer and that packs more punch than my NAA .22 lr mini. I figured I would hope for a good one , got the stainless ultra lite version and with premium .380 +P should be a decent pocket gun.

I was thinking of an LCR which i will probably also get, but ill admit a .380 revolver in that micro size was just too interesting not to check out. These make a J frame seem big.

I would not be afraid to buy a Taurus if I wanted one. They carry a life time warranty and the new CEO has made customer service a priority. I don't own a M380 but I have talked to several friends who do and they seem pleased with them.

While I am not a big fan of Taurus in general, I have to admit, I have a new Tracker in .17HMR coming this weekend. Could not pass it up for $200. That's including scope mounts and a red dot sight. What's not to like.
I'll have to look up the M380. That's a new one on me.

No Taurus hate here

I have a few Taurus models, had several for many years, one FINE firearm in my opinion. Their revolvers in .357mag and .38 are as good as any Smith I ever held, mine are older though and made in the old Beretta factory with Beretta tooling from what I read (right or wrong).
The Taurus PT-92 I would stand it up to any handgun made today or yesterday in terms of function. I have thousands of rounds through mine and never ever once a hickup EVER. It's a gun I'd trust my life too before ANY other! That should tell you something.....

A lifetime warranty you pay shipping both ways. I ordered and paid for 6 I'll call them end caps $6 for caps $8.75 shipping. Never got caps or what happened. I only own one Tarus ( 24/7 pro C) fit and finish is 3rd rate at best. Same you money and buy a Ruger, Beretta, S/W

Taurus will not charge you shipping. They will email you a prepaid label with a return authorization number. All you have to do is ask.

I have a taurus 66 .357mag and i love the gun. I have killed 8 deer with that gun. A friend of mine has one of their snubs in .40 and hasn't had an issue.

I never owned but one Taurus and it was a .357 with a factory ported 6.5" barrel. I don't suppose I ran more than 500-700rnds through it. Never had a problem with it but sold it cause it was too big for CC and too much muzzle blast for inside the house.

I've been wanting a GP100 357, and can't find any. It seems there's plenty of Taurus revolvers though despite the gun shortages. I've heard with new management and upgraded facilities that they come a long way in their quality and customer service. I don't know anyone that has one and I'm not ready to take the plunge just yet.

I've never owned one, although I have thought about buying a couple of different models. Other guns that I want just pop up and the right/wrong time. I do know quite a few people who have several variations. None of them have ever had anything bad to say about them. I will have one - I just don't know for sure what I want yet.

I have a Taurus PT738 TCP that I like. I'm left handed and wanted a pocket pistol I could switch the magazine release and holds open on the last shot fired. I've shot around 250 rounds of Walmart Privi along with some Ranger T and PDX1 through it with no failures. The only issue I've had is it's so tiny it's easy to hit the mag release while shooting, but a little practice seemed to solve that. It's no where near the pistol my SR40C, other Rugers, Beretta, or Smith & Wesson is, but for what I got it for - it serves the purpose.
