Did you pick this one up yet? Just curious how you are liking it if you have! Thanks!

Friends don't let friends buy Taurus.
If you're cheap, go with a cheap gun that has a lifetime warranty. The warranty is good, the product isn't.
Glock only has a 1 year warranty, Ruger has none. Glock doesn't make a revovler | I have several Taurus's including the models you mentioned and have NEVER had a single problem with any of them. It seems that everyone has had a string of bad luck with one manufacturer or another, with that said my string of bad luck was actually with Ruger polymer pistols. Personally I'll never own anything polymer made by Ruger again, but I wouldn't say they're ALL junk, just the ones that I got, first it was the LC-9 then my SR-22 & the LCP followed by the SR-9 and SR-40 and finally the LCR. All of them had to go back multiple times until I ended up trading or reluctantly selling them off after factory repairs. I would say that some of the earlier Taurus's were problematic but they came a long way since those days and are now manufacturing much higher quality weapons. Some of Taurus's older revolvers had cylinder timing problems but that problem has long since been worked out, but not before tarnishing the Taurus name. Their new revolvers are high quality, accurate & affordable weapons that a lot of folks swear by. Gun manufacturers need not have a warranty to stand behind their products, just about all of them will repair or replace one of their own as long as abuse or misuse is not in question.
