Thanks. How's yours coming?

I took mine out to the range on Sunday and I've now got 250 rounds through it so I ran some Remington Golden Sabre 185g +P's through it without a hitch.

I was having an off day at the range but the gun did well. When I concentrated, it went dead center of the target.

A shell casing hit me in the forehead again, this time on the first shot. All the other casings fly where they should. I'm trying to figure out if it's something I'm doing. I don't know yet, but I'll figure it out.

I do need to get some more mags made for it. It "will" use standard 1911 mags, but it doesn't like them. About a ⅛" sticks out below compared to the Defender mags. I had 4or 5 Ftfeeds Sunday but it was always with a standard mag.

I'll keep feeding back on it for a while. I know there's not much on the Internet about them except with guys who didn't like them. So far, I'm still 100% happy with mine.

I've used FrogLube on it exclusively. It's ridiculously easy to clean and except for the barrel hood you can't even tell it's been fired.

I got a 1911 Ultra Tool for it. It makes take downs and reassembly a snap. It even lines up the slide lock pin hole. I highly recommend them for any 3" 1911.
