Bought my first S&W

So I've been wanting a semi auto pocket pistol for a while now and with a baby on the way I've been clearing out my man cave. After selling an old bear mount and a couple tools I was off to the lgs. Living in Mass my selection of small pocket semi's is limited at best. I ended up taking home a Bodyguard 380 and am looking forward to breaking her in and putting it into my ccw rotation. This will be used primarily for ccw in dress pants, khakis or shorts where it is easily concealed in a pocket or iwb. It may act as a back-up at times as well.

I would have preferred the LCP since I really didn't need a laser and I love the 3 Rugers I have but they're not legal here. The Sig P238 was really nice but a little too heavy and a bit pricey.

Can't wait to put some rounds through this 380 and see how she does!

I've had great luck with mine. Over a thousand rounds with no failures. The laser controls suck without modifying them. I still like my rugers and other guns too.

Hey waterguy,
What's the laser mod. you're talking about? Friend bought the Bodyguard .38 and hates the laser button.

My father had problems with the laser buttons on his BG380 (which was a very early model) so he called S&W to complain. They sent him new buttons in the mail which he installed in a few minutes and so far he's been happy.
