Need help picking!

I'm wanting to buy a pistol, but have very little experience outside of my revolver. I've narrowed down to 4 pistols, based on (what i've read as) reliability, accuracy, affordability and want. Any input is great, i'd love to hear what you guys think. I would probably use this pistol as my EDC also. The pistols are as follows, along with a local new pricing:

1. Ruger SR9c - 449.00
2. Ruger LCP - 299.99
3. Beretta PX4 Inox 549.00
4. Beretta PX4 Storm Sub Compact - 499.00

Thanks for any input!

I can't speak on the Barettas' but I'd def. go with the SR9c if it were me.

I have a full size PX4, Compact PX4, Sub Compact PX4 and twin SR9c/Sr40c. Although I will not part with my Ruger twins, I prefer my Beretta's. The Ruger firearms conceal easier. I tried the LCP and hated it and its larger sibling LC9. The Beretta PX4 Inox is full size and although mine is not the Inox, I mostly use it for range use. Out of your list I would narrow it down to the SR9c and PX4 Sub Compact.
In the end you have to hold each in your hand, fire them if possible, and then choose the one that is most comfortable.

mostly because i'm embarrassingly unfamiliar with many makers of firearms. These are ones that I have picked from what I am familiar with, but I am absolutely open to suggestions of any quality, accurate fire arm.

This is a "Ruger" forum so I suggest the Ruger SR9c

I believe you couldn't go wrong with the SR9, my buddy got one a few mos. ago & I've shot it a few times. I was impressed with the feel of it & ease to hit the target, I really like my P95 but that SR9 sure felt good.

I would go with the SR9c. It's easy to conceal and a pleasure to shoot at the range. It also comes with both the 10 round and 17 round magazines.

Forget about the LCP. Get the LC9, but it needs the Galloway trigger kit to make it a great carry gun. Another good carry gun is the new Smith M&P Shield. If it is not for carry, there are numerous good guns out there.

I did own two LC-9s ( look at issues on forum ) I got a S&W M&P Shield, flawless, works every time, accurate with all ammo and short trigger pull,I retired my Glock 26 for this very desirable gun,This is a primary Ruger site,But other makes and models are permitted to be discussed here. Good Luck !

I compared at both the Beretta PX4 and Ruger SR9C. I bought the SR9C. To me, the Ruger SR9C grip felt better in hand, liked the trigger, and easy sight acquisition.

Also, it is comfortable to carry. I switch between my SR9C and SP101 depending on clothes worn due to weather (shorts and tee SR9C).

I only like the beretta 92 in 9mm. I have never been a fan of the other 9 mm pistols from beretta except also the 951.

Dave ... You might also want to consider the following two fine little 9mm carry pistols:

CZ 2075 RAMI

M&P9c

I have both, and both are excellent value for the money IMHO.
