In a heartbeat! I think they are missing out on a big market segment by not having a slimmer framed 9mm for concealed carry. I've always attributed the lack of a slim 9mm from Glock to reliability issues, but if they can make it just as reliable as my Glock 17 than I'm sold.

So is the 26, 29, 30, 33, and 39. All great carry guns but still have a bulkier profile. The only Glock in the slim line right now is the .45acp Glock 36, which is slim for a .45 but about the same width as the G26. What the OP wants, and I agree with, is a slim profile 9mm that just disappears when concealed and fits the hand like a glove. If Glock came out with a slim line 9mm that boast the same reliability as their other pistols, it would be impossible to keep on the shelves, IMO.

Yep, a slim 9 from Glock would sell like cold beer on the 4th of July. Count me in, too.

I've been carrying a G27 for several years now. I've tried a few revolvers such as a S&W 642 but keep going back to the Glock for reasons I don't know why (actually I do but it will start too much debating that I don't want to get into). I've looked at the subcompact .380's and keep telling myself I'm going to pick one up one of these days but I've never really desired to. Right before I went back to Iraq last march I tried a Kimber Solo and said that would be my next carrry gun. When I return in a few months it more than likely will unless Glock comes out with a single stack 9 or 40 before then.

Add my name to the list. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. As many Glock basher's we have here I don't think you'll get the response you are expecting though.I carry a G27 often but I'd like to have a slimer framed gun for EDC. That's one reason I bought the Kahr CM9.

Why doesn't Glock make a small, single stack 9mm? That's what I asked before I bought my darlin' Elsie Pea... Glock lost their chance. I wouldn't give her up for anything!

Glock may not have the prodution capability for another model. It is also possible that as gaston glock is an older man 80s I remember reading there is a question about the exact structure of the transition to another owner or company. My father in law gave me a german language business magazine he is fluent in german me okay he read it to me about the situation of comapny structure it was an austrian business amg and he thru it out so I cannot give you the name of the mag.

Yeah there's no way they can make another Glock right now...they are way behind on the models they already have. They can't even get the rest of the Gen4 models out...
If the grip is anything like the Glock 36, I will pass. The grip on it is really long and skinny, and doesn't work for me. I would rather have a Glock 30.

I'm in....but it's not gonna happen. And really, why should they? They've got a commanding market share, tons of repeat business....until the market for slim 9mm's cuts into their sales, it's R&D cash they don't have to spend.

Glock has one small pistol but it cannot be imported 1/8 " to small. It is a .380, people have been lined up to purchase but can't.
