I'm persornally willing to say the Ruger SR9 and my Kahr CW9 are 100% reliable. About 3000 rounds down range and nothing but perfect functioning.

Honestly, the modern combat arms available today are all fantastic. M&P, Glock, Ruger, Sig, etc are all just insane reliable. Each should be properly validated by each individual with the ammo you plan to use and there should be no problems. You always get a rare lemon, but that is will any gun.

I always include this ...If you are a "Glock Fanboy" and say they are more reliable than gravity and they are the only gun you can trust, I'm just LAUNCHING into you about the Gen 4 issues. Please don't make me embarrass you. LOL

I would have to say my S&W 5903 9mm. The pistol never fails to feed even with the cheapest ammo. Also, it is one of the safest semi-autos ever made. This is true with all the third generation semi-autos ever made. Law enforcement used the 5906 which is the all steel version for years. Of course then came the wonder Glocks. They have there place but I will take my 5903 any day over a Glock.
Regards,
Howard

Two on my list too: Ruger SR9 and Springfield XD9 Subcompact. I have tried all sorts of ammunition with both and never a glitch of any kind. I use Black Hills 124 grain +P as a carry ammo (if you are interested in that sort of thing).

I would have to say my P89, had it since "93, is my preferred carry weapon, lots of range time, no malfunctions. Digests any ammo I feed it.

I have 8 Sig Sauers. .380, 9mm, .45.

Never had so much as a FTF with any of them (except for my reloads, which wasn't the guns fault ) including a 30 year old P230.

I would love to say it's my SR9, but I had 2 FTEs with it. Not a big deal I know. But the question was which is the most reliable...and the answer is my Glock 26. Not a single issue or failure in the 6,000+ rounds I have put through it...not once, not a single hiccup, problem, failure. It may be ugly, but it works.

I've wanted a Beretta 92 for as long as I've wanted to have a gun at all. Not sure if it was a movie, or something else that got me wanting one. The funny thing is, I don't think I've come across any gun where peoples opinion of it varies so greatly. Some think they are awesome, durable, reliable, the cats meow. Others think they are trash and not worth the metal their made of. I'm sure that is probably because they are used by the military, and with that comes a lot of opinions.

I still want one, and it's on my wish list for sure, regardless of the nay sayers.
