| Beretta Nano Introducing the Beretta Nano - Guns & Ammo
Anyone else seen or heard of these? Looks like the PX's little cousin. I like the 92/96 and other steel framed Berettas, but not really their polymer stuff. Looks like the LC9 will have some competition!

There is a TON of talk on all the forums, including the Beretta Forum.
Depending on the size it actually turns out to be, it may give the Kahr PM9 some competition.
I don't see myself buying one, as I prefer DA/SA guns, and typically with a metal frame. But, we'll see. A new gun is always a good thing

This is the first I've seen of it here, but not the Beretta forum, as Beretta has a factory rep who posts there. I don't think I'd buy one either, haven't been won over by the LC9 yet either.

There is an interesting article in the latest Guns & Ammo about the Nano. It is also on the cover and pictured actual size. From the article, it sounds like it is slowly winning me over. The things that I like on it are as follows:
1. Smooth frame. No slide release. LC9 has one.
2. No manual safety. LC9 has one.
3. No magazine disconnect safety. LC9 has one.

After the Kimber Solo, Sig's P290...it's about time. Let the comparisons begin. |

I have owned Kahrs, and an LC9. I like the Nano better than all the rest!
Here is a target fired from 50 feet. |

I guess competition is a good thing but after owning a Kahr I will stick with Ruger and the LC9.

Awesome! I'd love to check one out in person. The LGS that I frequent hasn't even heard of these yet, so who knows. |

There is a lot of discussion on the Beretta Forum about the Nano not ejecting light loads. Several new owners are not happy having to buy the bigger dollar ammo for just practice. Most of the comments are under the Beretta Handguns section, you don't have to be a member to read the site: Beretta Forum - Powered by vBulletin |

From what I have seen in pictures the Nano is bigger than the LC9. It will be interesting to hold and compare one to the other.

Even if it is bigger, I'd rather have the Nano. See post number 4 for reasons why.

| Ummm... Actually it's smaller than LC9... It's comparable to the Kahr PM9 and CM9 in size.

Nice. Only thing I don't like is no slide lock/release
