Bud's Gun Shop...reviews?

I was bumping around the internet and found Bud's Gun Shop. They seem to have fantastic prices on many handguns.

I was wondering if anyone here has used them and what the opinions on Bud's is.

I have used them several times and overall have been pleased doing business with them, all items I recieved were as desribed by Bud's. I will say they are slow when it comes to shipping, usually takes 7 -10 days for a item to ship.

I've never had a problem with them, everything has always been as described.
Waiting for my Ruger Red Label SS to come in right now

Great! Well their prices look great. I have been looking at a SR9c, but now have looked at a M&P9c because I am not especially fond of the LCI on the SR. I was surprised to see the price from Bud's on the M&P.

Not sure what I will end up with, but glad to see some folks are giving good deals.

Congrats on the SS Red Label, looked at that one several times but couldn't convince myself I needed it.

DO shop around before buying. I got a Desert Eagle 1911G from my local dealer for $4 less than Bud's had it for, and didn't have to pay the FFL fee or shipping.

To their credit (or their supplier's lowering the price) they are now $30 less (PLUS FFL and shipping).

Decide what you want and then compare prices.

Cheaperthandirt also sells guns. I have bought ammo from budsgunshop, but no guns. I found that cheaperthandirt is cheaper, at least on what I am looking for, but apparently not for this particular gun. Kind of strange... But I did buy ammo and my cleaning kit from Buds with no problems

I bought my 96/22M from Buds since they were the only place I could find one. They did a good job for me.

I bought from their retail location....no problems, friendly and professional.
My local gun shop will match Buds price and add the transfer fee, which is fine with me...helps keep him open.

I bought an FNP-40 USG from Bud's for a steal when you take the $50 rebate FN was offering. Even with the FFL transfer it came in at less than $400.00.

Item delivered as advertised.

Your mileage may vary.

I live in the Lexington KY area and have bought two guns from them...both were straight forward transactions and both were at prices lower than advertised...They gave me a GI discount of 5% below the internet price. Regards, Rodfac

WGSNewnan is an unknown quantity at this point
no disrespect - but where have you been?
Just Kidding - Buds is definitely one of the best and barring huge transfer fees by your FFl you will have a difficult time beating them on price.

I've never had a problem with Buds. You will find a lot of gun shops have problems with Buds i.e. won't do transfers from them because they can't compete with their prices.

I've dealt with them several times and they are excellent and have the best of communication. Buy one of their silver dollars while you are at it. This is the last day to get a free copper dollar with the purchase of a silver dollar. Do it.
