New Smith 438

Just picked up a new Smith and Wesson 438 yesterday. I have an SP101 that I love but it's the wife's gun. This one is going to be my carry and back up gun. From what i can tell, I LOVE it. Light, excellent trigger, point of aim is perfect. I'm so excited to go to shoot it. Been waiting to get this gun for a couple months, and it's better than I could have expected. Almost as good as the SP101

I love those. Had an old model 49 that I foolishly got rid of.

Nice compromise between the 340 and 360. The single-action hammer option is great without the hammer snag issue ...

I bought the 637 when my buddy bought the stainless version of what you bought. He pocket carry's his while mine is tucked away as a house gun in a hidey spot. He has since moved on to carry in a holster as the hammer jammed full of lint from what we assume is the tip of the hammer roughing up the pocket. Just an FYI, maybe he was just a pocket lint loaded guy.
