Colt Double Action End Shake?

I have an old (1930) Colt Officer's Model .22 revolver. It shoots like a dream, but every now and then, when it's time for a good cleaning, it starts to spit out the sides a bit. Cleaning it takes care of that.

It does exhibit a little bit of end shake, and I think I'm going to take feeler gauges and measure it. I'm wondering, does anyone know what the safe range is for the cylinder gap on old Colts?
