Have one - awesome! Perhaps the best trigger of any of my handguns. They don't give away the conversion kits, but I liked my full size enough that I decided to also get the compact and sub-compacts. It is indeed like having 3 guns for the price of 2-1/2.

What model do you have? I wasn't aware that they were shipping the X Carry yet. It was introduced at this year's Shot Show and due in March, but I guess Sig is notorious for delaying new products.

I do not believe that any of the SIG P320 X series pistols have been released as yet. The rear sight plate that can mount a Romeo optic looks like it could be a worthwhile feature.

Sorry, I got a little ahead of myself. As pblanc mentions, the X series evidently has not been released yet. When I said "I had one", I was talking about the 1st Gen P320. I was unaware Sig decided it was necessary, IMHO, to "improve" something that was already pretty darn awesome. It appears these are the "improvements" with the X series:
The X-Carry, the concealed carry variant in the P320 X-Series, features the X-Carry grip module; a 3.9-inch barrel; X-RAY3 day and night sights; ROMEO1 compatibility; reduced slide catch lever; and three 17-round magazines. Itís chambered in 9mm.
Personally, I don't see these as "improvement". Indeed, the "extended beavertail grip module" in a "carry" gun makes no sense to me and seems merely like solving a problem didn't exist. [Maybe on the full size, IF one does not intend to carry it concealed.]

A "3.9-inch barrel"? Big deal, just pick the size [sub-compact, compact, carry or full] that works best for you.

"X-RAY3 day and night sights"? Don't know, but I can't imagine these being significantly better than the "night sights" already offered by Sig.

"ROMEO1 compatibility"? Not sure what this is. I assume a Sig "red dot" system but could be wrong.

"Reduced slide catch lever"? A step backwards, IMO.

"Three 17-round magazines"? Outstanding, but meaningless to me in the People's Republic of New York.

Sorry for the confusion.

No problems, a comparison is actually what I was looking for. I'm not too familiar with the Sig line and was wondering if the X Carry was something that would be worth the money. Looks like you can pre-order for around $750. That's a nice chunk of change!

Yep, like I said earlier, Sig does not give their products away. You do, however, get what you pay for. I recognize New Hampshire is not around the corner for you, but perhaps something to consider is that Sig gives a 10% or 20% [I forget which] discount to those that take courses with them. Naturally, you'll be paying for the course; but, depending on the course, you may end up ahead. Additionally, Sig often [always?] offers various loaner models of their guns for courses which involve live-fire. The 320X may be too new and unavailable, but if not, it may be an opportunity to "test drive" the new gun. Good luck.

Yes, a Romeo 1 is a red dot optic designed for handguns. Although I do not own a handgun with an optic, they are becoming more popular among old farts like myself who have some trouble focusing on hand gun sights. Red dots allow your vision to be focused on target at "optical infinity".

The SIG P320 RX is a P320 with the slide milled and the Romeo 1 installed. I have seen it selling for around $800.

Exactly why I'm a bit interested in that X Carry. My right eye is getting a bit blurry and I'm sure it will only get worse. I never in a million years thought I'd consider an optic on a hand gun, but that Romeo 1 is interesting. Especially since it looks easy to change from irons to the optic.
