Smith and Wesson 500 6.5"

I acquired the Ruger Super Redhawk 7.5" 454 Casull, and I loved shooting it. I put a Weigand Rail and an Aimpoint T1 on it.

So I just acquired the Smith And Wesson 500 Magnum. I went with a similar configuration but with a Stainless Steel Weigand Rail. I am going to roll the dice with a Primary Arms Advanced Microdot. This is my 6th Primary Arms Microdot. No issues with others but never on a super Magnum. It has a 3 year warranty. I'll take the risk.

Hope ya have Good Luck with that.
These old bones would not fair well with firing that Monster.

Me think's it would be Earth Shattering to say the least.

Would like to see some Targets.

I am 60 and rented a 6 inch 500 smith and fired 60 rounds through it and I am still alive. By the way the rounds were shot double action.

I believe that meets the proverbial definition of a hand cannon.

Looks like a good setup, enjoy.

I have the 8 3/8" barrel and it kicks plenty. I can only imaging what the recoil will be like with that one. Have fun. And blow up some pumpkins and watermelons.

That should be a lot of fun. I always get a kick out of how big those X frame revolvers are. Maybe I will get one someday

Congrats on the fine hand cannon!
My shooting buddy just picked one up with a four inch barrel, I can't wait to shoot it!
