New 10 shot .22 revolver

I was on the fence between this and the GP100 but I had these target grips that needed a home. Put 600 rounds through her in 2 range trips.

Nice S&W - would be hard to pass that up. I love the old Target stocks and try to put them on all my old square butt K frame and N frame revolvers. When I bought a round butt 686+ I put a set of Jaruwan's knock offs that look very nice too. He makes them for both the older square butt frames and round butt frames like yours.

Looks like it should be a great shooter - enjoy!

Wow nice find. I have an old 6 shot S&W 22LR that is still my favorite gun to shoot.

Is it a sin to covet another man's gun? It is pretty.

I do understand. The fact that we have the same 617 and enjoy it so much is probably why we haven't been able to convince ourselves we need the GP-100 in 22 LR.

So you had the grips but needed a revolver to put them on?

Makes sense to me.

Very nice pistol. Congrats.

Now that's a fine looking .22 revolver. Love S&W guns. I have an older 617-1 6 shot with 8/38 barrel which is just so much fun to plink with. And like country girl said " no need for a GP100 .22" . cheers gunna.

Thank you all!

Anyone fans of Dirty Harry?

"Did he fire ten shots or only nine?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .22lr, the heaviest .22lr handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?
