Sig P320 compact FDE on the way

Well, it was an anguishing decision... a veritable Sophie's choice... or maybe not quite that, but I'm a Ruger man - red label; mark 3; p944; lc9s and Single 10. I love the Rap9c such a beautiful gun... easily the coolest compact 9mm imo... but I liked the feel of the p320 and the trigger is awfully good (liked Rap also), plus it came with a holster... and I don't have a Sig! I weighed it and decided this time to try something new and different a Sig 320. It's now on the way from Buds. I feel like a traitor so I hope I like the gun... I guess if I don't I could trade it for a RAP9c. Thanks for all input in the decision process

That new V Carry P320 they just unveiled at SHOT Show looks soo sweet. I'm also really excited for the CZP10C. Finally some Glock competition.

Bought the same gun last November, very nice. The trigger is best in class. After a P89, P94 and and LC9 I was ready to seek out something else.

I have two P320s, a full-size .45 ACP and a compact 9mm Luger. They are the first, and only, polymer-frame, striker-fired pistols I have owned.

Both have functioned flawlessly. I tried the HK VP9 but preferred the trigger action on the P320 which I also shot more accurately.

And the US Army just selected it as their new service sidearm:

Army: Your new handgun will be a Sig Sauer

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but you have to wonder why the Army would announce a
$500M contract with Sig Sauer, the day before they get a new boss in Vincent Viola, the new Secretary of the Army.
I happen to know Vinnie personally and he certainly has an opinion and not afraid to tell you what it is. You would think the Army would wait until after the inauguration; just a curious turn of events.

Congratulations on the new P320. Get a couple of exchange kits and grip frames and mix/match.

I dont own one, but have kept up with the XM17 testing some.

They put out enough information, combined with the awesome test results, to lead me to believe that is a helluva fine sidearm.

Let us know how she runs. Looking forward to a range report.

Well, thanks. I ordered from Buds for $493 and mailed the check... then it takes a few days to clear bank, then they mail it... so hopefully it'll be here by tomorrow. Still feel a bit of guilt over not getting a rap, sure were pretty guns.

As soon as you disassemble it to clean and see the craftsmanship and attention to detail, then shoot it, the trigger is a masterpiece, its balance. You will loose that guilty feeling very quickly

I have a Sig P320sc 9mm. It's the best striker fired pistol I've ever owned or shot. I routinely carry it as my CCW.
