This is a discussion on P90 Concealed Carry Advice?? within the Pistols & Revolvers forums, part of the Pistol & Revolver Forum category; Greetings,
I just wondered if anyone has successfully carried a P90 concealed before? If so, what can you recommend as far as holster and type ...
I've carried one for over 5 years continually. I carry in a Milt Sparks VM2HS Holster at 2:00-3:00. I can't emphasize enough getting a good quality holster. The comfort will determine whether you will carry it all the time, or leave it at home. Congratulations on getting the P90. It is an excellent, dependable gun. They are big and heavy, but can be carried if you want to. They are comparable to carrying a 1911 in size.
I just wondered if anyone has successfully carried a P90 concealed before? If so, what can you recommend as far as holster and type of carry e.g. small of the back, shoulder, etc?
New to concealed carry and new to this forum...glad to be here!!
I carry mine in all of the above,in Texas when its hot I will carry in SOB,in cooler weather I carry on the hip with a cover shirt.I just got a Safariland holster for my Crusader Compact it is a paddle holster with a belt accessory but it is soooo comfortable so I'm gonna get one for the P90's...
I have carried for years. I normally carry full size guns since I don't want to rely on a pea shooter to defend my life. I have not carried a P90 yet, but I have carried a Glock 17 and 20, CZ75 and 97, Sig 220, and a 4" GP100 to name a few. All are easily concealed with a pancake holster and a shirt dropped over them. I usually wear a light T shirt under the gun for my comfort. This works well for me.
I have a P89, roughly the same dimensions as the P90. I use an open bottom high ride FIST shortcut that I had made for my Taurus millenium. It carries the Ruger much better however. I saw a movie this weekend, Desperado with Antonio Banderas. He apparently carries one up each sleeve! Aaaaa... Hollywood
I adjusted up the new Safariland 568 holster for the 90's it conceals and carries just fine.I'm not a big guy and it conceals under a polo type shirt.I wore it last night watching TV and it did not bother me at all,it is comfortable. P.S. it is a paddle holster with a belt holder accessory so you can wear it either way.
